Alpine ranks right up there as one of our favorite sights! When we visited this site it was obvious right away that we were the first people to visit here in an verylong time, possibly as long as 40-50 years!
Despite the fact that no structures are still standing here, the site was litered with debris dating back to the early 1900s to about the 1920s. It included dishes, silverware, pots & pans, tobacco tins (TONS of them), and even bottles!

Cat was exceedingly thrilled to find this old miners lunch box - the Pedro tobacco advertisements were still readable on all sides!

Shawn found this old burlap sack inside the mine - he was able to research the company name on it and found it was a livery stable in Tonopah, NV from 1906 to 1908. We also found a wooden ore car - in bad shape but we were still thrilled!
