BONNIE CLAIRE

Bonnie Claire dates back to the 1880s and was booming until the 1920s with a brief resurgence in the 1940s. The orginial mill foundations from the 1880s can still be found as well as the standing mill frame you see in these photos. There is also a smaller operation across the road that appears to have been worked through the 70s and occupied until quite recently.
