The Cloverdale ranch is an oasis in the middle of the desert. When it comes into view the greenery sticks out like a sore thumb, surrounded by sage and dry desert.
This site began as a stage stop back in the 1860s (Stone stage stop building still standing)and then became part of a large ranching operation. This site is still in use by the current owners.
