There isnt much left here, just the crumbling remains of some old cabins and a delapitated cemetary. There are some mines close by in the mountains that we explored as well and a large working mill just down the road.
The oldest ruins can be found in the hills, mostly made of stone, these date to the late 1800's.
Our first visit here was back in 1996 when a small group of us camped out here. Our roommate at the time made us a great dinner and then amused Cat and Jami by building a HUGE and raging fire! Pepper and I had a blast too, we ran around till the wee hours of the morning chasing critters! DOG HEAVEN!

We've attempted the road over from Columbus to Candelaria but found the road gated about half way between the sites.
