Eden Ranch was a surprise for us - we didnt expect to find anything out here. We were very pleasantly surprised to find many standing cabins and artifacts! This site is actually broken up into two separate sites. The first site was established in the early 1910's by the Fallini family (according to Shawn Hall's book Preserving the Glory Days) and has about four cabins, a smith shop (with local brands burnt into the walls) and a corral. The second site is just a few miles away and has two adobe and native rock cabins and an old mining stamp. Cat encountered a rattlesnake while exploring this second site - she appologized for disturbing him (after she stopped hyperventilating) and quickly moved along!
