FRISCO GHOST TOWN

Frisco is our favorite Utah ghost town! WE HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME HERE!
There are lots of structures to explore, a very cool old mill and an extensive cemetery! Cat couldnt stop smiling and I couldnt stop chasing rabbits!

IF YOU'RE A LOUIS LAMOUR FAN THEN YOU'VE HEARD OF THE SACKETTS. WELL, THERE HAD TO HAVE BEEN 8 TO 10 GRAVES WITH THAT VERY NAME!

Back in the 1970's the Frisco graveyard was in complete disrepair. Grave robbers had dug up the majority of the graves years before and left the caskets above ground and the bones scattered. This is a photo taken during a visit to Frisco in the early 1970s, thats Trini sitting next to a baby's casket with the babys bones bleaching in the sun. We're not sure what kind of sickos would do something like that but we'd like to thank whomever repaired this cemetary and restored respect to the dead buried here. Thank you Trini Howard for this photo.

*UPDATE*
AS OF 7/02 A MINING COMPANY HAS BEGUN REWORKING THE MINES AT FRISCO. ONLY THE CHARCOAL KILNS AND CEMETARY ARE ACCESSIBLE.
