Sometimes we visit sites that at first seem to have nothing left of interest. We thought Jumbo was pretty boring at first but while cruising around the site we stumbled upon one really cool artifact that made the stop worth it for us. This VERY cool old wagon in the above two photos.
We were able to confirm our suspicions once we reached home (and our research libraries) that this was a small ore wagon - used in transporting the ore from the mine to a milling site. This is something that noone in our group has ever come across before and we were all excited by the find!

We also were stoked to find this old ore bin. We'd never seen quite the same setup that this one had. Too bad though - it appears that gravity is doing what it can to destroy this one.
