The Lost Burro Mine was a fun and interesting site to visit in Death Valley. We had a great time exploring the site and also hiking the western ridge to overlook the Racetrack.
The mine was active from the early 1900s to about 1917. The signs around the camp must have been made by the last owner, WC Thompson, before the area came under the jurisdiction of the National Park.
Looks like someone lost their pants while they were here!
