MONARCH MINE CAMP

Monarch dates back to the late 1890s. There was a post office located here in 1910 to 1911. The town at its peak in 1911 had a boarding house, several residences and the mine/mill employed 20 men.

A very innocent swing met its demise recently when a certain ghost town explorer decided to give it a try. Said ghost town explorer swears he was just testing it for safety reasons!
