MURRAY, IDAHO

Murray, Idaho is an adorable and picturesque semi ghost town located in Northern Idaho. The Spragpole museum is famous with ghost town buffs and we absolutely had to visit it when we passed through town.
Another interesting stop in Murray is the Bedroom Goldmine bar. The story being that the weather was bad and the owner couldnt get to his mine that day and so tore up the floorboards and mined there underneather the building!










The Murray Pioneer cememtery is extremely interesting. Here lies several people of historical interest; Maggie Hall (aka Molly B'damn) a prostitue known for her good deeds, Terrible Edith another lady of the evening known for her terrible temper, and Capt. Toncrecy who inspired the character of Huckleberry Finn for Mark Twain.
