THE NORTH STAR MINE

The North Star mine is a small mine in eastern Nevada. One of the most interesting things about this mine is the top of its tram - which has two old miners picks used as cable guides! We've never seen anything like that before. The mines themselves are verticle and were unsafe for us to explore. However, we found evidence of an old forge, anvil stump and one half of an old bellows!
