RAINS

We visited Rains during our 3rd Annual Ghost Town Rally.
Rains was a coal mining town occupied from 1915 through the 1950's. The site is private property. The owner was a very nice man who agreed to let us explore the area.
There were several impressive structures here, one that appears to be some kind of store, another a possible mine office building, other smaller structures, Liberty Fuel Co Tunnel, and even a train tressel.










We found some cool things around the townsite.
