THE RED RICHARD MINE



Most of you already know that I change the names of the mines on my website. Most of the names are just take offs of the actual name. Well - if you figure out the name of this one its sure to make you chuckle!
This mine was alot of fun! There are lots of ruins at the mining camp site - buildings, artifacts, vehicles, equipment, etc. Up at the mine there is a fun tunnel to explore as well as a control shack overlooking the camp below.
Whats super interesting about this site is that there was not a tram from the mine down to the camp as it first appears. Infact, there was ore tracks laid down from the top shack that went down to the camp site. Ore cars were controled by a single brake located in the control shack above.
