LOWER ROCHESTER
The towns of Rochester and Lower Rochester were established in 1913. The photos here represent Lower Rochester, Upper Rochester is underneath tailings from the currently operating mine. Lower Rochester was the bigger of the two camps but both camps were almost completely abandoned by the 1940s.











This rattler was hanging out next to an old well at Lower Rochester.








As you can see it got a LITTLE dusty!
